At the balloon races.  We had an awesome time and got to see "Dawn Patrol"  but the best site was the planes and geese flying in the same formation ( for 9 11)  (lost man formation?)--the geese arriving about 5 minutes after the planes finished with their fly over.
After that we had pancakes and sausage and watch the massive launch.  They even had a Darth Vadar balloon.

Erin's Birthday Party at Brews Brothers,  her first karaoke with a live band.  She did awesome and even won second place.  Yeah!!!

The point of these pictures is that I finally finished the dress I designed a year ago, it's simple, but i made the pattern myself and added a zipper at Brai's request.  She liked it and is now willing to wear a dress.  Before she wouldn't even wear one.  I am pleased that I can still sew this was a good year for that creative outlet.

My Oregon Trip

I was hoping to load a video I made of all the photos in Oregon.  But I think it is too big for such a blog.  I will have to figure out another way to share it.  Steve and I had a wonderful time visiting my cousin in Oregon, checking out the largest book store in America.  Powell Bookstore--3 stories and a full block with 2 coffee shops -one on each corner.  I definitely have to plan a full day when I go back.  But I quickly found the Space Trilogy by C.S. Lewis.  Yeah.  And they had an interesting old book area.  We also took a drive down the coast of Oregon and visited a lighthouse.  Our first time visiting a lighthouse, again no time for a tour, but i did get to see a humpback whale.  There were lots of trees, and birds and of course fog and rain.  We had a wonderful day that ended beautifully with a room on Ocean front and dinner on the warf next to the window.  I can't wait to visit again November.

My visit to Oregon

 I had a wonderful time visiting with my cousin.  We had a relaxing first night of catching up then some girl time the next day and rest before my hubby joined us on Friday.  I look forward to visiting again in November.

 then they went for a swim in Lake Tahoe.

Wrangler 1st year @ Reno Rodeo

                                                                       My first year with the Reno Rodeo as a wrangler.  I had a great time even through all the hard work and long nights.  I look forward to the 2012 Rodeo, this time I will not be sick on my day to watch the rodeo.  Thanks Bill for bringing Caty and I to this.  Hope your injuries heal quickly !!
